Anime X Gamer Experience announces new guests and events

EXP Con strikes back into the news with a sleek new site design (http://www.projectexp.org) and a lot of exiting updates regarding guests, events, and more! From this point on, we will be keeping everyone up to date with all things EXP with exciting developments and in depth analysis of EXP panels, events, and guests.

Starting with guest announcements, we are extremely excited to be able to showcase a large number of new people who are going to make EXP Con THE place celebrate your Japanese animation and gaming passions in 2008!

Beau Billingslea, the man who does it all: television, films, stage, radio, and video games. In the world of anime, Beau has voiced a multitude of characters including Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop, Barret Wallace in Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Matsuonosuke Shibui in Samurai Champloo, Sajin Komamura in Bleach, Ogremon, Sagitarimon and Parrotmon in Digimon, Bear Walken in Gungrave, Michael in Argent Soma, and Bear in Rave Master. He has done numerous radio and television commercials (on-and off-camera), not to mention video games (Kingdom Hearts II, Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time, Dynasty Warriors, Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2, Ace Combat 5 just to name a few)

Johnny Yong Bosch, who brings many video game and anime characters to life with his amazing voiceover talent, is our newest guest to enter the EXP fold. Fans of Japanese animation will recognize Bosch's trademark voice from Ichigo Kurosaki of Bleach, Vash the Stampede of Trigun, Kiba of Wolf's Rain, and Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass. If you are a gamer, you will definitely know him as the voices of Nero of Devil May Cry 4, Fugue of Eternal Sonata, and Yuki of Grandia 3.

In addition, the band Eyeshine which Bosch is a member of will be performing at EXP Con this year. This three member "edge" rock band consists of Johnny Yong Bosch (vocals, guitar), Maurice Salmin (drums), and Alex Orantes (bass).

Also, joining us at EXP Con will be the hilarious sketch comedy troupe known as AniRAGE. They have been taking the convention scene by storm as they bring their comedic shows to anime and gaming fans everywhere. We are excited to bring this fun experience to the attendees of EXP Con!

Last, but by far not the least, is the announcement that we will be working alongside Concept Galaxy to bring entertainment that will truly give the fans an EXPerience they won't forget. As well as working alongside EXP to bring the fans show events, they will bring their unique take on interactive entertainment in the form of their Midsummer's Nightsmare storyline. This story will be entwined into the convention experience and will branch off to many different events. Convention-goers will have the chance to watch as the zaniness unfolds, and in addition, they can help determine the outcome of this crazy turn of events that will befall Concept Galaxies crew of cosplay actors. To find out more about this event, please visit the Midsummer's Nightsmare link under the Events section. In time, we will be announcing dates for auditions to be a part of this fun EXPerience!
