Meet Zenkaikon at Video Game Expo, GameX, & Video Games Live

VALLEY FORGE, PENNSYLVANIA -- September 15, 2009: The staff of Zenkaikon is happy to formally announce their presence at three major upcoming events in the Philadelphia area - gaming conventions Video Game Expo and GameX, and the Video Games Live Concert experience.

Zenkaikon will be sponsoring two anime screening rooms at Video Game Expo, taking place on October 9-11, 2009 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Zenkaikon will also be on hand selling anime-themed merchandise, and taking pre-registrations.

Also on October 11, 2009, Zenkaikon will be having a presence at the Video Games Live Concert pre-show festival, taking place at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Zenkaikon will be screening Anime Music Videos and running trivia contests. In addition, the winner of the Video Games Live cosplay competition will receive a free membership to Zenkaikon 2009.

On October 24, 2009, Zenkaikon cosplayers will be roaming the halls of GameX at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. They will also be assisting with the GameX Costume Contest.

The staff of Zenkaikon 2009 looks forward to meeting the attendees of all of these exciting events.

About Zenkaikon:
Zenkaikon was formed by the merger of the anime and sci-fi convention Zentrancon and the anime convention Kosaikon, both in the Philadelphia area. In 2006, they put on their first event, which was a tremendous success. Zenkaikon will return for its fourth installment on November 7 and 8, 2009, moving into the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge. The convention will feature two days of programming with dealers, artists, panels, performances, gaming, and more.
