Animation On Display Announces Guests of Honor

Animation On Display (AOD), San Francisco's animation convention, welcomes the new year with an exciting Guest Lineup. AOD will be held this Presidents' Day weekend on February 16-17 at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco. For more information, please visit www.aodsf.org.

Phuong-Mai Bui-Quang (aka P.M.B.Q.) has been writing and drawing in the U.S. comic scene since 1994, debuting in Antarctic Press' Ninja High School anthologies. Since then, she's gone on to creating everything from websites to t-shirt lines to her creator-owned comic series, Tea Club. Additionally, P.M.B.Q. is the co-founder of Manga Start, a fun, interactive and free way to learn about drawing manga.

Neil Kaplan is best known for his work as a voice actor in video games, anime and children's television. Neil's voice-over work on television has included several seasons on various versions of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, as well as the popular series Digimon. To this day, however, he is best known around the world as the voice of the iconic hero Optimus Prime on the animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

Jeannie Lee loved animation and comics from a young age, and that love has manifested into her art and many of her interests today. She has worked on freelance coloring gigs under Udon Comics; as a production artist at TokyoPop, and is now a full-time digital artist at Gaia Interactive.

Vic Mignogna is a professional music composer/producer and veteran actor best known as the voice of Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist. His current roles include Fai in Tsubasa Chronicle, Ikkaku in Bleach, and Yukito in Air. Vic has voiced characters in more than 100 shows and many video games.

Ken Pontac has been in animation for... forever. Involved in such works ranging from Bump in the Night to Happy Tree Friends, Mr. Pontac is a true comedian and visionary. AOD welcomes back Mr. Pontac for his fourth year with us, as he continues to contribute his talents to the animation world.

Marv Wolfman is one of great comic book writers of the 20th century, famous for his team-up with George Perez on the groundbreaking Crisis on Infinite Earths and co-creating many of the Teen Titans. Mr. Wolfman also created the character Blade the Vampire Hunter, re-invented Lex Luthor, and has done extensive writing for both cartoons and video games.

Tommy Yune has worked for over a decade in the comic book and video game industries. He is currently Harmony Gold's creative director and oversees new development, including Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, which completed production in 2006.
