Daisho Con announces 2010 guest lineup
On June 16th Daisho Con, which is returning to Stevens Point, WI for its second year, announced its guest lineup for 2010.
Daisho Con, which is run by the student organization of the same name, is an annual convention focused around anime, video games, comics, table top gaming, and fantasy.
Guests for 2010 will include:
- Spike Spencer - Spike Spencer has been a voice actor since the early nineties. He has voiced hundreds of episodes of Anime including such notable titles as Evangelion, Battle Angel, Suikoden, Orphen, Spriggan, and Nadesico.
- Richard Epcar - Richard is well known to anime and gaming fans, starting with the original 'Robotech' series in which he played Ben Dixon. He is the voice of Batou in all things 'Ghost in the Shell' and has directed a countless number of shows and video games.
- Doug Walker - Doug Walker, from ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com, is best known for his character The Nostalgia Critic, who reviews bad movies and TV shows from childhood. He also plays the roles of Chester A. Bum, the hyper active bum who loves every movie ever made, and Dominic, a bar tender who has talked with some of the video game world's biggest stars.
- Lewis Lovhaug - Lewis "Linkara" Lovhaug is a comic book critic who runs the blog/video series: Atop The Fourth Wall. He is also a contributor to ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com.
- Pat Rothfuss - Pat Rothfuss is the author of the highly acclaimed fantasy novel The Name of the Wind, which is the first book in the Kingkiller Chronicle.
- Scott Lynch - Scott Lynch is the author of the Gentleman Bastard sequence of fantasy crime novels, which began with The Lies of Locke Lamora and continues with Red Seas Under Red Skies. His work has been published in more than fifteen languages and twenty countries.
- Arashi Taiko Dan - Arashi Taiko Dan is a student organization from St. Cloud State University that practices the traditional art of Japanese Drumming.
