Animation On Display announces 2011 dates

SAN FRANCISCO, CA-- Animation On Display (AOD), San Francisco's Anime/Cartoon convention, will take place February 19-20 2011, at the Hotel Kabuki in the heart of San Francisco's Japantown.

AOD is also pleased to announce that it is partnering with NEW PEOPLE on the 2nd annual J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL. The J-POP SUMMIT features a full week of events, including:

Anime Night at New People: Tuesday, September 14
There will be two screenings of 5 Centimeters Per Second at the New People Theater, at 7:30PM and 8:45PM. In between the screenings, AOD will be hosting a reception with refreshments, drinks, and giveaways.

J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL: Saturday, September 18, 11AM to 6PM
Free admission. The J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL is a pop culture-themed street fair that covers the grounds of Post Street from Webster to Buchanan to the Peace Plaza of Japantown, San Francisco. AOD will be hosting the Anime Lane section of anime/manga dealers, as well as a Cosplay Contest.
